Andrew — better known as Bleek — is a proud graduate of Morgan State University, where he competed on the varsity football team. Juggling a full academic calendar with the demands of Division I training required unwavering discipline, razor-sharp time management, and a relentless commitment to showing up prepared to compete at a high level— every single day.

That same work ethic has translated directly into Bleek's professional career as a barber. As a second generation barber, Bleek began cutting hair in the family office around 2009. Utilizing Wahl clippers, he learned Wahl's fading system by ordering DVDs through magazines in the family's barbershop lounge area. At this time there were no levers, or clickers to learn this craft. A barber in training learns this skill through trial and error, supported by community members who trust the trainee's serious commitment to preparation. Through years of commitment he learned the specifics of fading and trimming.

Years later, around 2013 in college Bleek established a barbershop in his dorm, cutting hair for teammates and anyone on campus looking for a haircut. As Instagram began to thrive he noticed that some barbers were excelling more than others. Fading and trimming became a soft skill as the demands for sanitation, razor work, and detail began to rise. He sought mentorship digitally from afar as social media barbers began to gain prominence. Upon graduation Bleek took an apprenticeship to achieve credit hours toward state board certification. His future was decided; his passion for precision in presentation within the grooming industry brought him fulfillment.

After the COVID pandemic, the barbering industry is light-years away from where it once was. New local leaders have emerged to guide the industry's pivot, and Bleek aims to be among them.

A proud Baltimore resident, Bleek is driven to deliver a premium grooming experience that leaves every client looking and feeling their absolute best. His chair isn't just a seat — it's a destination. He aims to become an ambassador, a leader in barber education, and gain notoriety amongst commercial networks as a highly talented professional barber.

Outside the shop, Bleek is a devoted family man, spending his time raising his children and enjoying every moment of fatherhood.
